Ethan // Four Months

Ethan was such a fun little guy with a very happy personality. His dog AJ was a riot and I think was a bit jealous as she managed to sneak herself into a few frames.

I'm a total sucker for baby feet.

Grandpa

A lot of great things happened in 1931. The Star Spangled Banner was adopted as the United States National Anthem, construction was completed on the Empire State Building in New York, the original film version of Dracula starring Bela Lugosi was released and Nevada legalized gambling. But of all these great moments in history the greatest moment to me is the birth of my grandfather. A father of eight and grandfather of 18 is truly a great man. I cannot say enough about my grandpa and I think I speak for my entire family to simply say we love you & Happy Birthday!

Open season

It's waterfowl season and many of my good friends are spending their early mornings in a chilly duck blind. Since I'm unable to join the fun I am posting my favorite photos from one of last years duck hunts.

Thunder is beautiful 'puppy' and loves doing what he does best.

Dempsey // 18 Months

We decided to take advantage of the final days of what was supposed to be summer with a leisurely lunch at Mario's followed by a stroll down Main street. Dempsey explored downtown with gusto and managed to pose for a few pictures along the way...

I had to throw in a picture of the "Dempster"!

Colby // One Month

The littlest things mean so much. If it's the first giggle you hear or when your baby lifts his head for the first time they are all landmark achievements. I was thrilled to be able to capture a few special moments celebrating Colby's first month. So strong already he was practically doing push-ups while prepping for his first photo shoot!

Addison

This is the second opportunity I've had to take pictures of Addison at the Dubuque Arboretum and she is always good for more than a few adorable poses. Big sister Mariah even popped in for a few. Thanks again Addison! I hope you enjoy the pictures.
